Hi Rob,
it was great to meet you and here your presentation on ethics to the rotary district interact conference. You are an excellent presenter - I am learning a lot from you. I wish I'd had more time to talk wtih you, and also to talk with the other rotarian (in the yellow shirt) with you - and to exchange contact info!

I hope you will write me. I would love to come out and visit you in cary and talk. I love the way you spoke of the training you are giving your children until their desire is the same as yours. You had lots of metaphors that were powerful in the depth of their truth. I hope to continue conversations with you.

thanks for your faithfulness.

peace and grace in Christ our Lord,

Torture! I want to be in that class!! Those of us who only get to see the PP slides are left with more questions than answers on Find-out-fridays. One of your little teaching tricks, huh? Make us dig for answers ourselves... (Or, I could wait for the book to be compiled and available on kindle!) OK, the cup of tea is ready. It could be a long night of studying.

We do as we do with all things: we live and move in the world that God made and keeps and will evaluate now and ultimately according to Himself. We seek God's kingdom and will among us (Matthew 6:9-13);we pray and depend upon our Father, who is the Savior of all circumstances;we rest in the Potter's hand.

We act to promote Christ and his kingdom. We act in the mercy of Christ. We seek justice for the glory of Christ.

Yet none of this is achieved by "inter-faith" communion nor extreme ecumenist unification. In diluting or doing away with the very Christ who's kingdom, mercy, justice and glory are collective answer to the problems that manifest themselves in times and events such as that on September 11, 2001.
It was Schaeffer in the portion of "How Should we then Live" that he said, "it was the christians who where able to resist the mixture of religions, that is, syncretism. This is what showed them as so strong."

Christ, alone, is the answer- meaning the One True God, Father, Son and Spirit, with redemption offered only in Christ.

Only in Christ.
